ODIN Symposium 2023

The Open Data in Neuroscience Initiative (ODIN) at MIT's McGovern Institute for Brain Research is dedicated to democratizing neuroscience research by fostering an open data ecosystem within and beyond MIT.

ODIN aims to provide neuroscientists with powerful platforms and tools for data sharing, analysis, and interpretation, while collaborating with other open data initiatives and federally funded projects.

In a spirit of transparency and collaboration, ODIN seeks to accelerate our understanding of neural systems and their impact on human health and behavior.

This initiative will work in synergy with existing projects like DANDI, BRAIN Initiative Cell Atlas Network, and BRAIN CONNECTS, to create a culture of data sharing among scientists.

ODIN's comprehensive approach includes co-developing toolkits, hosting annual workshops, and pushing the boundaries of neuroscience to unravel the mysteries of the human brain, inviting neuroscientists, data scientists, and stakeholders to join this transformative journey.
